Himalayan pink rock salt from natureland is mined from the mines that arise from the Indo-Gangetic plain, it is mined from khewra salt mine. The chemical composition of Himalayan salt includes 95-96% sodium chloride, with 2-3% of polyhalite and small amounts often other minerals. The pink colour of rock salt is due to the presence of iron oxide. It is commonly used in cooking, in place of other table salts, in brine, and as bath salts. Blocks of salt are also used as serving dishes and in the preparation of food. The product is 100% organic.
